Spend Father’s Day weekend at Daniel Stowe Conservancy and cheer on the dads in your life during Dad-Cathalon, a lighthearted competition featuring classic “dad skills” put to the test on the Four Seasons Lawn.
Participants will compete in a series of fun challenges inspired by everyday dad talents, including tie-tying, trashcan basketball, grocery bag carrying, and golf-inspired contests. Whether you’re competing for bragging rights or simply enjoying the laughs from the sidelines, Dad-Cathalon offers a memorable way to celebrate all fathers, father figures, and even dog dads.
Families are encouraged to gather on the lawn to watch competitors tackle each challenge, with heats taking place every 15 minutes throughout the event. Groups planning to compete together are encouraged to register in advance (included with garden admission or membership) while individual participants can join a heat upon arrival.
After the competition, continue the celebration with live music on the Trailhead Store Porch. Guests can relax and enjoy an afternoon performance by Alma Russ while sipping coffee and refreshing beverages.
