Throughout the day, guests can enjoy live performances including an African drum circle, steel drum music, and an evening R&B and jazz finale concert.

The event also includes free family-friendly activities and community health resources, creating an engaging experience for all ages in the heart of Belmont.

The celebration is hosted by Elements of Empowerment, a nonprofit organization dedicated to fostering cultural awareness, acceptance, and preservation through artistic and educational programming. Originally formed as a volunteer committee for Belmont’s first Juneteenth Celebration in 2012, the organization continues to partner with the City of Belmont to bring this meaningful community tradition to life each year.
