The Belmont Tourism Development Authority (known as Historic Belmont) is a division of the City of Belmont. This website serves as Belmont’s online visitor center, helping travelers discover where to shop, dine, stay, and explore during their visit.
Use the form below to submit your organization’s event for consideration on the Historic Belmont online events calendar, reaching both visitors and local audiences.
Events must:
- Be open to the public
- Take place within Belmont, NC and support tourism activity
- Be relevant to and attract visitors
- Appeal to a broad audience
- Encourage visitor spending and generate tax revenue in Belmont
Events typically not accepted:
Exceedingly localized or private events, including educational classes and workshops, charity 5Ks, local fundraisers, business mixers, cocktail receptions and happy hours, summer camps, church, political, civic, or community meetings, graduations, homecomings, reunions, and events primarily intended for specific groups (such as scouts or school groups).
We request that events be submitted 6–8 weeks prior to the event start date. While we review submissions on an ongoing basis and may occasionally consider events closer to their start date, inclusion is not guaranteed due to volume.
Each event must be submitted on a separate form. Please complete all fields as accurately as possible and include a high-resolution, horizontal image along with a detailed event description. All submissions are subject to editing.
