Experience the rhythm of summer’s arrival at Jazz at the Garden, a vibrant Memorial Day weekend celebration set on the beautiful grounds of Daniel Stowe Conservancy in Belmont.
As the sun sets over the gardens, settle in with your lawn chairs and blankets for an unforgettable evening of live music beneath the open sky. This year’s concert features acclaimed guitarist Jubu Smith, whose remarkable career includes 25 years as lead guitarist for Frankie Beverly’s legendary band Maze, along with performances and recordings alongside icons like Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, George Benson, Lalah Hathaway, and George Duke.
In honor of the holiday weekend, the celebration continues with an after-show jam session from 9–10 p.m., featuring DJ Mr. EZ-E of SGL Productions spinning crowd favorites across the Garden grounds. Guests are encouraged to embrace the spirit of the evening by dressing in their finest all-white attire for the beloved Outside White Party — the perfect way to welcome summer in style.
Enjoy beverages from the Garden bars along with grab-and-go bites from Big Leaf Café as music, community, and warm spring air set the tone for a memorable night in Belmont. Whether you’re a jazz lover or simply seeking a magical evening outdoors, this annual kickoff is a must-experience event of the season.
